The Rope Stitch may be worked vertically or horizontally. This stitch may be resized to create thicker lines. The Rope Stitch is an
excellent stitch for lines, curves and corners. To finish a row, vertically or horizontally, work a tie-down stitch at the end. Three diagrams have been used to demonstrate this stitch.
Rope Stitch (Diagram 1):
Bring the needle up at A, create a loop by following the red arrows. Holding the loop in place, bring the needle and yarn through the loop (following the red arrows). Now, continue on to Diagram 2...
